Control Cable 600 Volt Flame Retardant Tray Cable (TC) LS0H
APPLICATIONS:
Designed for utility and industrial applications where high reliability is essential and installation considerations including cable tray fill, are important. The cable offers excellent flame and radiation resistance, and fully meets current requirements for application in Generating Stations and Pulp Paper Industries. For applications where environmental factors require cable characteristics including flame retardance with limited smoke and halogen emission when burned. May be installed in free air, all raceways or direct burial; in wet or dry locations; permitted for use in Class 1, division 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC Article 501-4(b). Ideal in enclosed areas where personnel and/or sensitive electronic equipment would be exposed to toxic emission in the event of a fire.
DESCRIPTION:
XLP/LSOH is a hybrid cable construction utilizing a proprietary formulation of insulation which meets or exceeds XHHW-2 requirements listed in NEC Article 310-13. Meets or exceeds the requirements of ICEA S-73-532 for insulated wire & cable. The product meets UL 1685 "Limited Smoke." LS0H jacket offers: Excellent flame resistance - burns to an ash - does not exhibit "thermoplastic drip;" Excellent thermal and mechanical characteristics; excellent low temperature cold bend characteristics.

UL, Type TC-ER, UL 1685 (LS).
FLAME TEST:
Meets requirements of UL 1685 (LS), LS0H AND UL 1277 and UL Subject 13 for TC Cables. Vertical Tray Flame Tests IEEE 383 (70,000BTU), UL 1581, IEEE 1202, FT4.

14-10 AWG
AMPACITY:
Based on not more than 3 conductors in raceway or cable or earth with an ambient temperature of 30 Degree C per NEC 310.60. All conductors derated per the NEC
CONSTRUCTION:
Conductors are cabled with fillers to make round. Two conductors are available round with fillers or flat without fillers to reduce OD size and ease of installation.
CONDUCTOR:
Stranded Bare or Tinned Copper, Class B per UL 83 and 62
INSULATION:
Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLP) per ICEA Type XHHW-2 conductors.
JACKET:
Premium Polyolefin, Low Smoke/Zero Halogen with ripcord
COLOR CODE:
ICEA Method 1 Table E-1 or E-2
