Control Cable 600 Volt PVC/Nylon Shielded

APPLICATIONS:
Designed for control, metering, switching, lighting and signal transmission. May be used in Class 1, Division 2 Hazardous Locations per NEC Article 501.

DESCRIPTION:
Multi-conductor control cable constructed with aluminum/mylar helically applied shield and tinned copper drain wire. Type TC cable having THWN, THHN or TFN conductors. The cables conform to NEC Article 336 "Power and Control Tray Cable" meets or exceeds the requirements of ICEA T29-520210, 000BTU Flame test, UL 1277, TCER, CSA CIC-TC Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) jacket. 90 Degree C Dry, 75 Degree Wet Sunlight resistant.

FLAME TEST:
Passes IEEE 1202, FT4, UL 1277, ICEA T-29-520 (210,000 BTU)

GAUGE:
18-10 AWG

AMPACITY:
Based on not more than 3 conductors in raceway or cable or earth with an ambient temperature of 30 Degree C per NEC 310.60. All conductors derated per the NEC.

CONSTRUCTION:
Cabled with fillers to make round. 2 conductor cables are flat.

INSULATION:
PVC per UL62 for Type TFN (18-16) AWG or UL 83 for Type THWN or THHN wire. Average thickness is 15 mils for 18-12 AWG and 20 mils for 10 AWG. PVC insulation is jacketed with nylon meeting UL62 for Type THWN or THHN wire. Minimum thickness is 4 mils. VW-1

Sunlight Resistant PVC per UL 1277

SHIELD:
Aluminum/Mylar helically applied with tinned copper drain wire.
